- HATS allows a tailored look to be created without the need for the source code of the solution
- Webfacing allows the tailoring to be taken further, but does require access to the source code
New interface
CGI programming provides the opportunity to use existing skills in RPG or COBOL to develop browser-based access through the use of HTML and JavaScript. PHP is now available on the iSeries and could be used to replace RPG or COBOL code
